 The Nominative Case

  • Nominative Case is used when a personal pronoun acts in one of three ways.

The Objective Case

  • Objective pronouns are used for any kind of object in a sentence as well as for subjects of infinitives.
The Possessive Case
  • Although errors are less common in the possessive case than they are in the other two cases, you should take care to use the possessive case before gerunds.
